Looking Back. Looking Ahead. Enjoying the Moment

I know…The title is a bit misleading since neither the past nor the future exists. All we have is now…right?

As we close out one decade and begin another…some reflection seems to be in order.

2019 was been a banner year for MergedAnalytics. We hit our stride.

Our success was generated by three main things…

–         Name change

–         Partner growth

–         Disruption

Name Change–  Simply put…we out grew our name which was Visit Intel at the start of 2019. We felt the word “Visit” in our name…gave off the impression we were only about website visits.  Although that is a main feature of MergedAnalytics….We are much more than just website visits!

Our short urls (https://mergedanalytics.com/vzit-co/ ) give our users the ability to understand the entire journey first initial click to final destination…of the people clicking the URLs added to their social media posts as well as the urls in emails they send out to their audience.

With the marketing intelligence we deliver from various sources like social media posts, emails and website visits …our software MERGES those ANALYTICS in one easy to use location so the proper analysis can be performed.

So after much deliberation…MergedAnalytics became our name!!! For more on why we changed our name click here…HERE

Partner Growth – In 2019 as an organization we began to hit our stride mainly because of our partners who distribute MergedAnalytics.

Through our partners…we are experiencing exponential growth.

An obstacle for any David when you are in a world of many Goliaths is getting your message out to the your target audience and scaling up.

It is much more effective to have many others trying to get the word out in addition to your own efforts.

What we have done is formed relationships with Marketing and Web development companies to have them “White Label” MergedAnalytics and integrate our product into their suite of offerings.

Our partners offer our tools to their customers who already know and trust them.

We allow our partners to completely scrub our branding and contact information so they can replace it with theirs. Along with providing a great tool for their customers…as the MergedAnalytics Alerts are delivered to their customer’s inboxes…their customers are reminded throughout the day that it is their Marketing or Web Development service delivering this valuable intelligence.

The emailed alerts gives our partners the elusive….”top of mind presence” with their customers.

Disruption – No doubt about it…MergedAnalytics has disrupted a section of the digital marketing industry that was taking advantage of large company’s fat marketing budgets while paying zero attention to their smaller counterparts.

MergedAnalytics is destroying that barrier for the small companies…. by leveling the playing field.

Make no mistake…ALL large companies are currently leveraging tools that provide some sort of Website Visitor Intelligence. Most are doing it with cookies which are little software tools used to track your intent behavior online. They spend millions on this technology annually.

MergedAnalytics does NOT USE COOKIES.  We have a proprietary application that will tell you the COMPANY NAMES and in some cases EMAIL ADDRESSES of the people clicking on the URLS you post to social media sites and in your emails as well as the pages clicked on your website.

At $59 per month…we are giving small and medium sized companies the tools that only the large companies could afford in the past. And…it takes 5 minutes to set up.

We have and continue to make value-add additions like….

–        Adding in Interest index reports – Lets you apply a score of the Companies that were clicking on your URLs and Website pages the most in a given time period.

–         Adding Google UTMs- create Google UTMS in the MergedAnalytics Portal

–        Adding Integration with CRMs and ESPs

–         Adding the Private Block List – block companies and IP Addresses that are not important to your business

–         Allowing users to Create Custom Trackable Short URLs for Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin, Facebook and Emails at ONE TIME

–        Improving User Interface from both an End User and Admin perspective.

What’s Next – Being in the moment is important in living a meaningful life which is why I meditate daily.

In the business world however, constant forward thinking is essential.

Our number 1 mission is to continue to improve the value we deliver to our customers and partners at a reasonable cost while fostering a nurturing/creative/fun environment internally within our own organization’s culture.

I am grateful to all of our Partners and Customers for giving us the opportunity to work together and recognize mutually beneficial successes in 2020 and beyond.

I am grateful to the other 3 Founding Partners of MergedAnalytics.  It is very rare that 4 people get together with years of synergistic experience and work together to create something meaningful and beneficial to all who use it.

Most of all I am grateful to my family who provide all the loving motivation anyone could ever need to want to keep pushing to succeed while enjoying the entire journey.

Wishing you all a Healthy, Happy, Safe, Creative and Prosperous New Year,

Joe Singer and The MergedAnalytics Team.

10 Reasons You Do Not Need MergedAnalytics

B2B Businesses large and small are using various Digital Marketing tools to understand the behaviors of the people at companies interacting with their brand online.  The online interaction between a person from a company with your company could originate from various places including…

  • Visiting your website following a live conversation
  • Clicking links posted on Social media
  • Clicking links posted in emails
  • Online keyword searches
  • Clicking on online ads

The interaction does not always end with just one click.  People will often click through multiple pages on your website and of course….return to your website various times after that initial visit.  98 percent of all website visitors click through websites anonymously never letting you know they were ever there.

MergedAnalytics delivers the COMPANY NAMES of the people who click on your posted links to social media and/or in your emails as well as the website pages clicked on your website. We then MERGE this information into one location for analysis so that you can understand the entire journey of the people at companies interested in your company.  You can also understand what their specific interests were while on your site.

For many companies, the information we provide is a game changer….however we recognize this tool may not be useful for all B2B companies.

Below are 10 reasons why a B2B company would NOT want to use MergedAnalytics….

  1.  Your business does not need new leads – If your business produces too many leads and you do not need anymore…Please stop reading now and take the rest of the day off.  The intelligence MergedAnalytics delivers is another resource you may have never had before that helps you not only understand the specific needs and interests of the people interacting with your company….but also the Company Names of those people clicking on your website and posted links. If your business does NOT need new leads….take the rest of the week off and your company does NOT need MergedAnalytics.
  2. Your business does not care if your existing customers are on your website – Do I really have to tell you that your existing customers are your best prospects?   By knowing the behavior of your existing customers who are clicking through your website pages will not only allow for you to provide better support but you will also put yourself in a better position to up-sell them as well. If you do not want to support and up-sell your existing customers… MergedAnalytics is not for you.
  3. Your business does not care to understand if the person you met at a networking event took the time to check out your website after you met them – You are at a networking event and had a great conversation with someone you met there.  You exchange cards and walk away from each other.  You are feeling good because that person seemed very interested in what your company has to offer.  You think you found a new prospect.  Wouldn’t it be nice to see if that person visited your website after that interaction? If not… MergedAnalytics is not for you.
  4. Your business does not have a social media presence – Understanding the entire journey of the people who interact with your brand from initial point of contact on to their final destination is no longer a nice to have.  Is your audience interacting with your company on Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter?  By using Visit Intel Short URLs for the links you post to social media that is exactly the intelligence you will have.  You can also shrink and customize links you post to increase the chances of them getting clicked and shared.  If you have no social media presence…MergedAnalytics is not for you. Learn more about MergedAnalytics Short URLshttps://mergedanalytics.com/vzit-co
  5. Your business does not care if the company you are in the process of  closing a deal with is on your website looking at specific information that could help you close that deal – You present to a prospect and send them a proposal.  Then….silence.   Nothing. No communication for days.  You have no idea what their thoughts or concerns are about moving forward.  BUT…since you have MergedAnalytics, you start receiving MergedAnalytics Alerts via email showing you that the company is in fact still interested.  You can tell from the reports that they are focused on a specific service you provide on a specific page on your website.  This information allows you to proactively check in with them via email and send along reinforcing information about the topic they were spending time while on your website.   The intelligence delivered by MergedAnalytics will put you in a better position to win deals and shorten your sales cycle.  If understanding prospects concerns that could ultimately help you close a deal is not important….MergedAnalytics is not for you.
  6. Your business does not want to use tools that the big companies use to win more business – The big companies are ALL using tools that identify the Companies interacting with their brands and spend millions of dollars annually doing so.  MergedAnalytics levels the playing field for the smaller company that does not have the type of budgets like their bigger counterparts.  That is why MergedAnalytics is so compelling….for a small monthly fee of $59 paid annually , you are getting the same intelligence (in some cases better) than the big companies. If using tools that they big companies use is not important…MergedAnalytics is not for you.
  7. Your business does not care about the content being viewed on your website – Are you making sure the content your audience is reading on your website is still relevant?  By understanding where your audience is spending time on your website you will make sure the content they are reading is still relevant and up to date.  There may be pages on your website your audience is clicking on that may not have been updated or should be taken down altogether. If having a tool that will remind you to update or even remove information from you website is not important…MergedAnalytics is not for you.
  8. Your business does not care if your marketing and advertising dollars are being spent wisely – You may think the money spent on specific advertising and marketing campaigns are producing results as you  predicted they would.  MergedAnalytics reports what is actually going on….not what you think or want to happen.  We tell you where your traffic is coming from and how they got there.  You may think your ads on LinkedIn will drive the most social media traffic but Visit Intel may tell you it is Twitter or your Email campaigns producing the best results.  Understanding the effectiveness and success of your ad campaigns is just good money management. If you do not care to really understand where your money is best spent in terms of your ad and marketing strategies then MergedAnalytics is not for you.
  9. You believe Google Analytics (GA) gives you ALL the intelligence you need – GA does NOT give you the COMPANY NAMES of the people who click on your website.  GA also does NOT filter out the bots, crawlers and server clicks which jack up the total numbers of clicks you think you are getting.  What good is only having the number of clicks without knowing which COMPANY NAMES are doing the clicking….MergedAnalytics DOES filter out clicks from bots, crawlers and servers and we provide the COMPANY NAMES of the people doing the clicking.  If not knowing the COMPANY NAMES of the people who clicked through your website and if unfiltered click counts are not important to you…then you do not need MergedAnalytics.
  10. Your business does not want to bid on projects earlier than they normally would – If a company has a need and is doing their due diligence by clicking through your website…MergedAnalytics provides you with the ability to contact that company earlier than you normal would.   This early contact gives you an advantage over your competition.  This early information MergedAnalytics provides will also speed up your sales cycle and the cost of  that sale.  If bidding on projects earlier than normal is not important….MergedAnalytics is not for you.

MergedAnalytics- A B2C Business Case?

If you are a reader of this blog you know how I love finding and then sharing the different ways companies benefit from MergedAnalytics.  Many times the benefits are something I would never have imagined.

“MergedAnalytics” is a digital marketing tool used by B2B Companies to uncover the Company Names of the people who click on their Posted URL Links to social media and/or emails as well as the Pages on their Company Website.

Detailed notifications containing the Company Name and activity of the people who clicked your posted URLs and/or website pages are automatically emailed to the right people within your organization so the proper action can be taken.

It was built for businesses who sell their products and services to OTHER businesses….aka B2B (business to business)

For example…there was the Commercial Construction Company that sends cupcakes to their prospects when they receive MergedAnalytics website activity alerts from companies they can tell have construction needs.  Read more…       https://mergedanalytics.com/visit-intel-cupcakes-revenue/

I came across another business case that yet again surprised me.  This time the company who is using MergedAnalytics is a B2C (Business to Consumer) Company.

A Managing Director of a SAT and College Preparation Tutoring Company contacted me because they came across MergedAnalytics and wanted to give it a try.

Initially I tried to talk this person out of using MergedAnalytics because his business is B2C, but he was still curious and wanted to give it a try.

He understood that MergedAnalytics is a B2B tool…not meant for B2C companies….but he was smart enough to have a vision where MergedAnalytics could be useful to his business in spite of the fact it was built for B2B Companies.

Here’s how…

He sells his services to the parents of the kids that ultimately will get tutored and/or advised.  Many of the parents he deals with work and have jobs at established companies.

So here is how MergedAnalytics helps this B2C business in a real life scenario….

– The owner of this tutoring company pitches his services to a parent

– The parent says they will get back to him with a decision as to whether they will move forward.

– That parent goes to work and while there…. looks at the Tutoring Company’s website

– The Managing Director of the tutoring company starts getting MergedAnalytics alerts from the company where that parent works and sees not only that they were on his website but which exact pages they were focused on.

– The Managing Director knows where most of the parents he pitches to work and so he is able to proactively email that parent information that reinforces what they were interested in per the received MergedAnalytics notifications.

And the result is… by leveraging the MergedAnalyticsalerts…he is putting himself in a position to shorten his normal sales cycle and win more deals with information he has not had before now all because of the MergedAnalytics Alerts.

One other aspect of MergedAnalytics he envisioned on his own…..He can also see if there are companies like his out there who may look to partner or even purchase his company.  For example…If he starts getting alerts that Princeton Review was on his website …he can react to that information and put his company in a better position to be purchased.

What’s all the fuss about SHORT URLs?

Do you ever think twice before clicking long URL links with too many weird looking parameters?

Have you ever wanted to share a 30-character URL but could not remember the URL address?

Have you ever wanted to brand your URLs in such a way before you post them to social media that would make people more apt to click them?

How about…have you ever wanted to know the Company Names of the people who click on those URLs you post to social media or emails?

Some URL shorteners simply turn long links into shorter URLs and that is it… while others let you customize/brand the text of the new URLs created with a Short URL generator to track clicks and inform you about who’s clicking your links.

Why should you use Short URLs at all?

#1 Clean and short links appear more trustworthy and get clicked more often than longer links.

Let’s be honest, which of these links would you feel more comfortable clicking?  Keep in mind they will both take you to the same destination…

https://www.livechatinc.com/url-shortener/8-reasons-why-to-use-url-shorteners/?partner=quora.com&utm_source=quora.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=post352346

Or

https://vzit.co/What-are-Short-URLs

The second URL is obviously cleaner, at first glance seems trustworthy and provides a concise description of what you can expect if you click it. People tend to prefer clicking on visually appealing links, especially when the links are Customized and/or Branded. AND…Because it is a “MergedAnalytics” SHORT URL…you will know the COMPANY Name as well as other valuable data about the clicker.

#2 Customize your Short URLs

Short URLs do not have to look “spammy”, with random combinations of numbers and letters. By adding branding and/or information about they can expect when they click the URL…will ensure more clicks.

#3 Go beyond number of clicks

Tracking clicks is one thing, but measuring the quality of the traffic coming to your website is another. AND…add in the information that you will receive with the MergedAnalytics Short URLs like…the COMPANY NAMES of the people who clicked your URL links, where they found your website or posted URLs and what their specific interests were.

#4 Understand the complete journey of the people who click your URLs

MergedAnalytics has two main components…

  1. Short URLs
  2. Website Visitor Intelligence

Assuming you have the MergedAnalytics website visitor intelligence pixel on your site….By utilizing the SHORT URLs…you are able to see the entire journey of the people who are interested in your company.  You can see the initial click on a Short URL you posted to LinkedIn for example and then have insight as to where that person went on your website after that initial click. This creates an understanding of not only the behavior of your prospects but what their specific interests are in your company.

What is website visitor intelligence? 5 things you should know

When someone clicks on your website or a posted URL link…there is data about that visitor that you simply wouldn’t know unless you had a website Visitor Intelligence tool.

In general the typical B2B website only captures 2-3% of website visitors with tools like contact forms and email opt-ins, but because a website intelligence tool shows who visited you can easily see 40% of all visitors no matter what action they took on your site. That’s a substantial increase in web leads.

The following list contains 5 things you should know about website visitor intelligence tools:

1: Google Analytics is not great for B2B lead generation.  Aside from the fact they use Tracking Cookies …they do NOT provide the Company Names of your website visitors.  They also do NOT provide any type of lead scoring.  But the biggest issue with GA is they do NOT filter out bot, crawler and other server clicks.  There are times when there are clicks that are not done by humans.  MergedAnalytics filters that useless information out of our reporting.

2: Website Visitor intelligence is a great source for B2B leads.  You can really get a feel for what the visitor is interested in by their click behavior and knowing how much time was spent on specific page(s) on your website and how many times they return to your website. They also DO provide the Company Names of the visitors.

3: Trackable Short URLs – This is a major key to website visitor intelligence.  MergedAnalytics is the only tool I know of that includes Short URLs in the basic Website Visitor intelligence offering.  Knowing which site referred your visitors ie. Facebook, LinkedIn Twitter and then being able to see that visitor’s entire journey from that initial click to other pages on your website… can provide the intelligence need to really understand that visitor’s interest.

4: Better Support for Existing Customers–   In many cases your best prospects are your existing customers. Knowing the specific interests/needs of your customers based on the content they navigate to on your website…will increase all facets of the level of support your organization provides them ultimately resulting in new sales.

5: Warm Leads – we all hear that cold calling is dead.   Although that may be true depending on what you are selling…the WARM LEAD is very much alive.  If you know that a company has visited your website various times and is spending time on the same pages and content…you know there is interest and more importantly what that interest is.  Calling into a company and knowing they have a specific need/interest in your company warms up a frigid cold call.

“We are NOT getting useful “MergedAnalytics” Website Activity Reports

“Nice product but MergedAnalytics is not for us.  We are not getting any meaningful reports” said a prospect who is evaluating MergedAnalytics.

Before I address that statement …. let’s review what MergedAnalytics is and does.

MergedAnalytics is a B2B website visitor intelligence tool that generates automatic Website Activity Reports that get emailed to you when someone from a company clicks on your website.  https://mergedanalytics.com/

MergedAnalytics reports on the Company Name of the person who clicked on your site, how they found your site and what their specific interests were while there.

The ways your website visitors find your website depend on many variables.  These variables are mostly determined by the various marketing strategies, techniques and initiatives in place at your company.

People find your website by….

  • Typing in keywords in a search from Google , Bing etc
  • Sent Emails containing URLs either in the body of the email and/or signature block
  • Typing in your website address organically
  • Social media postings that drive traffic to your site
  • Press Releases and other Articles/Blogs/Landing Pages
  • Digital Advertisements, Google Adword Campaigns etc.

Countless money and time is spent on these types of strategies to drive people to websites.

MergedAnalytics simply reports on ALL visitors who click on your website.  It is NOT a tool that drives traffic…rather we report on the site visit activity.  It is a tool that should be a barometer as to how your marketing and advertising initiatives are working…..or not.

So by saying MergedAnalytics is not helpful because you are not getting good reports ….. to me that means MergedAnalyticsis actually giving you very useful information.

MergedAnalytics is telling you that your marketing strategies need to be modified in order to get your desired website traffic results.

We also hear from companies that the website is not that important to businesses in this modern age.  My question is…companies spend countless hours and money developing their website and the content on it, spend countless time and money on the marketing strategies to drive people to their websites…if all of that is true…why wouldn’t you want to know the company names of your visitors, how they found your site and what they did while they were there?

IF you do NOT want to know website visitor information ….why have a website at all?

Another way MergedAnalytics is Helping our Customers.

In a previous post I outlined the many ways MergedAnalytics is being used by companies in various industries.

Initially our prospects usually tend to look at MergedAnalytics from a pure sales leads perspective but come to realize MergedAnalytics can be beneficial in other ways.

To view the post about 7 Companies from 7 different industries and how they benefit from MergedAnalytics in 7 different ways click…..Here

Yesterday I learned of another way MergedAnalytics is being leveraged by our customers that I found very interesting.

This particular company that is using MergedAnalytics is a well-established web development and digital marketing firm.  Here is how they use Visit Intel…

When they receive a MergedAnalytics Site Alert from a Company that could be a major account and win for them or if that alert contains a company that they have been heavily pursuing …they call an impromptu company meeting and use the MergedAnalytics Site Alert as morale booster.

The employees get pumped up when they see the fruits of their labor.  They pursue companies via various marketing and sales strategies  to see the results and proof that their marketing and sales efforts are working.

This customer of ours loved MergedAnalytics so much they decided to “White Label” the tool and resell it to their customers.

When our resellers “White Label” MergedAnalytics…they are able to brand the application the way they want with their logo, colors etc.  The idea is that a White Labeled version of MergedAnalytics should look like their own branded offering and compliment the other products and services they provide their clients.

A white labeled version of MergedAnalytics also gives our resellers the ability to gain a “top of mind presence” with their customers.  As the MergedAnalytics notifications get emailed throughout the day…their customers see their logo and branding rather than the usual MergedAnalytics logo, colors etc.

For more information on White Labeling please visit our website… https://mergedanalytics.com/partnering/

Just another interesting way MergedAnalytics can be used for your business.

Tell us how you are using MergedAnalytics in the comments section.

7 different companies from 7 different industries benefit from MergedAnalytics 7 different ways

Many think MergedAnalytics is a tool that just generates new leads and although that is one way to benefit from the tool…we are finding many other applicable uses outside of just pure sales leads from brand new prospects.

Below are 7 unique stories describing surprise benefits we have heard from current MergedAnalytics customers who ALL  happen to be from different industries.

  1. Short URLs – A Marketing Company posts many articles via URL links to social media ie Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook etc Although MergedAnalytics will alert you when one of those URLs were clicked…the MergedAnalytics report did NOT always tell you the company name that person was from.  The company started using the MergedAnalytics SHORT URL generator on all of their posted url links.   Now when they receive a Visit Intel site alert they can see the Company name and the referrer ie Facebook, Twitter, Linked etc.  They now know the performance of their posts and can understand which social media sites get the most clicks and from which companies.
  2. Untargeted ProspectsA Cyber Security Company thought they had a great target list to go after. They send emails through their ESP a few times a month.   They were skeptical as to whether Visit Intel would add any value to their current process.  Once they deployed MergedAnalytics, they were astounded as to how many website visitors they had that were NOT on their target list.  This information allowed them to widen their net.  They were now going after companies who normally they would not be going after as a result of the MergedAnalytics visitor intelligence they were receiving.
  3. Existing Customers – An enterprise CRM Software Company that uses Visit Intel was able to understand and support the needs of their existing customers better based on the content of the MergedAnalytics reports. They were able to understand by the MergedAnalytics visitor intelligence what other services were of interest based on the pages and content that was of specific interest.  The software company was able upsell based on that information.
  4. Targeted Prospects – An Art Gallery that uses Visit Intel is marketing itself to other businesses as they would like to place art in Lobbies, offices etc. The Gallery has a targeted list that they send monthly emails to letting them know what Prints and Paintings are available. Because of MergedAnalytics the gallery is able to see what artists are most popular as well as what specific paintings are of interest to those companies based on the visitor Intelligence they get from MergedAnalytics.
  5. Winning Deals when you think you are out of the running – An Executive Search Firm was bidding on a major project to staff an entire marketing and sales team for a Pharmaceutical Company that was launching a new drug. The firm thought they were out of the running. They started seeing MergedAnalytics alerts come in from that Pharma Company and realized they were still in the running.  The MergedAnalytics reports was showing them exactly what the Pharma Company were interested in.  As a result the Executive Search firm emailed the Pharma Co information that reinforced exactly what they were interested in.  Without the MergedAnalytics reports they would have lost the deal.  They thought they were out of the running but the Visit Intel reports showed they still had a chance and they ultimately won the business.
  6. Discovering OLD URL links on the internet that were forgotten – An Online Lead Generation Company uses various links on websites to get people to “opt in” to all sorts of things from products, services, meals, news etc.  They deployed MergedAnalytics and started getting reports and saw that people were clicking on old forgotten URL links still out there on the web.  These links could cause confusion and could tarnish their brand.  With the help of MergedAnalytics, they were able to identify old URL links that lead to nowhere and have them removed.
  7. Bidding Early on Projects – A Construction Company that is using MergedAnalytics found that because of the MergedAnalytics Site Alerts that are automatically emailed to their sales reps,   they were able to contact the visiting company and bid on construction projects earlier than normal.  Typically they have to wait to be contacted by companies with construction needs.  Now based on the pages viewed in MergedAnalytics Alerts, this construction company beats out competition because of the early leads MergedAnalytics provides them.

MergedAnalytics needs to be part of your Account Based Marketing (ABM) Strategy

“I do not need MergedAnalytics.  We receive leads from our Account Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns.

Frankly…by the time a prospect gets to our website….it is already too late.  We need to reach our leads/prospects way before they land on our website.

MergedAnalytics would NOT really help us “said one of my prospects who I was talking to about our website visitor intelligence tool.

She gave me some valid points but I believe her reasoning above is somewhat flawed.

We believe there is a place for BOTH ABM and MergedAnalytics.

Before we move on….Let’s review what both ABM and MergedAnalytics are…

Account Based Marketing (ABM) –  ABM  is a B2B strategy that concentrates sales and marketing resources on a clearly defined set of target accounts within a market and employs personalized campaigns designed to resonate with each account.

So organizations who are trying to generate leads will hire advertising companies to create campaigns, banner ads etc. that are targeted to a predefined list of people with specific titles from specific companies.

This is an extremely effective way to get your message across to the right people from the companies in your target market.

MergedAnalytics is a B2B website visitor intelligence tool that generates proactive automated Site Alert emails that alert you when someone lands on and clicks through your website.

With every business that visits and clicks through your website, “MergedAnalytics” has the ability to show you:

– Their company name, and location,

– Which exact web pages they viewed,

– How long they spent on each page

– How they found your website

– Which referrer, social media sites, email campaigns and keywords were used to find your website

– And much more

So although the prospect I was speaking with in the beginning of this post was correct in what she said about ABM she is missing a major part of the story.

ABM (in theory) should drive the right people you want to sell to ….to your website.

MergedAnalytics tells you who is actually visiting your website.  Are the people clicking through your site the ones you targeted in your ABM campaigns?   How would you know without MergedAnalytics?

Think about it….You’ve spent a lot of time and money on your website, and on the marketing strategies intended to drive people to your website, but if most people are leaving empty-handed without you knowing they were there in the first place, then what’s the point of it all?

MergedAnalytics will give you all of that insight into whether or not your ABM advertising campaigns are actually working…..or not.

Also…MergedAnalytics is NOT only used just for Prospecting.

Wouldn’t you like to know if your competitors are clicking through your website?

How about your existing customers?     They may click around your site showing interest in something you would have never thought to talk to them about.  Could there be up-selling opportunities?  Of course there could.  Your customers are always your best prospects.

Also you can judge how serious a prospect‘s interest is in what you are selling if that prospect returns to your website as they get closer to moving forward with a purchase.

We cannot dispute that ABM is an extremely powerful tool and there is certainly a major place for it in terms of generating leads.

However we can also say there is a complimentary place for a tool like MergedAnalytics as it gives you the REAL information as to who is actually clicking through your website.

–         How visitors got there. i.e.….keywords, social media post, Press Release, Signature Block Email Campaigns. Etc.

–         What they were specifically interested in while on your site

–         Which Marketing strategies are working best

Additionally “MergedAnalytics” users have access to other features like…

–         Macro Reporting Portal to see the various macro visitor trends as they pertain to your website.

–         Branded URL Shortener (like bit.ly) –  MergedAnalytics comes with your own branded URL Shortener to further enhance our ability to uncover the companies your website visitors are from. Great for social media postings and any landing pages.

I encourage any small to medium sized company that has a website and that sells products and/or services to other companies to try MergedAnalytics.

You will uncover…

–         new prospects that were not on your target list

–         behavior of prospects that were targeted

–         if your marketing strategies are working as expected

–         what videos, pdfs and other links were launched and by which company

–         behavior of existing customers on your site

–         behavior of your competitors on your site

–         behavior of your business partners

–         macro trends in how people are finding your site

All of that for $59 per month.

“MergedAnalytics” is the biggest NO BRAINER for your company that you will ever come across.
